DJI buys stake in Hasselblad

DJI recently acquired a minority stake in the Swedish company, Hasselbald, the world's foremost manufacturer of high-end medium format cameras. Established in 1941 and perhaps best known for its use on NASA's Apollo missions and the iconic photos taken of the moon's surface and of earth from the

moon, Hasselblad is taking to the skies once again with a new aerial camera, announced in June 15. Offering the "ultimate" in image quality for aerial photographers, Hasselblad's A5D will offer resolutions of up to 60MP. Exciting times ahead for aerial photography!
